Wounds International Singapore Conference a great success

Over 100 delegates from all over Asia attended the recent ‘Raising the bar’ conference on Sunday 15th October in Singapore.

The event was kindly supported by an educational grant from Urgo International and was chaired by Professor Keith Harding, Dean of Clinical Innovation, CU & Medical Director, WWIC Cardiff University & Welsh Wound Innovation Centre. Keith introduced speakers from across Asia who shared their knowledge, understanding and best practice with our delegates. Serge Bohbot, Medical Director of Urgo was able to share the key findings from a recent RCT conducted by Urgo called the Explorer study, further information regarding this exciting development will soon be available to clinicians in Asia.

The event culminated in a lively one-hour interactive debate which allowed delegates to ask direct questions of the speaker panel. A number of interesting discussions followed and highlighted that there were common themes affecting the delivery of wound care around the region, despite the differing healthcare systems in each country.
