Placenta gel reduces hypersensitivity inflammationA recent study shows that porcine placenta is effective in treating contact hypersensitivity.

Researchers in South Korea have found that using porcine placenta gel on mice with contact hypersensitivity on their ears significantly reduces inflammation and inhibits its progression. The gel was applied to the ears of the mice every day for two weeks. It significantly reduced lymphocyte infiltration in the ear tissues, moderating ear swelling, inflammation and oedema.
