The Euro–Mediterranean Council for Burns and Fire Disasters will be celebrating 25 years of sharing information about the latest technologies and systems for preventing burns and fires in Palermo, Italy this year.

The celebration will be held during the organisation's 17^th annual conference entitled 'Palermo: A bridge between centuries, cultures, civilizations and continents'. Lectures covering emergency care in burn disasters, resuscitation therapy and over-hydration, surgery in acute burn phases and burn care in developing countries will be discussed in the two-day conference over 7-8 June, 2012.
