Innovations in venous leg ulcer management

<p>This paper describes recent research in the field of venous leg ulcer management. It provides an overview of the most important randomised clinical trials and meta-analyses of studies in this specialty. It suggests that compression therapy remains the most effective treatment, but that clinicians should be open to other therapies, particularly those that seek to correct an individual’s underlying condition and prevent recurrence.</p>
