Advancis Medical uniquely design, manufacture and market products from their UK site. Working alongside thousands of users, and in partnership with clinicians and nursing staff from all over the world, Advancis Medical continuously design and develop; never standing still. In response to the demands for more cost effective treatments they are able to design, manufacture and distribute without compromising performance or quality. In 2010 Advancis Medical won the Medilink Innovation award for the ground breaking Eclypse Boot super absorbent full lower limb wrap dressing.

Activon honey
Advancis Medical was the first company to develop Manuka honey into a CE marked medical device for approved application to wounds. The Activon honey range went on to become the biggest selling honey brand in the UK. The product range now consists of 5 products: Activon Tube, Activon Tulle, Algivon and Actibalm.

Eclypse super absorbent dressings
The increased exudate associated with the use of honey products initiated the need for a super absorbent dressing – Eclypse. The Eclypse range has become a leading name in the Advancis Medical portfolio and has been extended to include a silicone version, a full lower leg wrap dressing and a sacral shape, all of which are available on Drug Tariff in the UK.

Silfix soft silicone
In 2008 Advancis Medical was in a good position to launch a third major product range - soft silicone. Aware of issues of pain and trauma at dressing change, soft silicone was an ideal solution. It had been successful within the Eclypse range, this was developed as a stand alone range. The Silfix products are making good progress and proving to be a hit with clinicians worldwide.

Advancis Medical also provide a range of advanced wound care products, such as Advadraw rapid capillary action dressings, Siltape a soft silicone fixation tape and Kikuhime, a great tool for measuring or training for compression.
