LA INFECCIÓN DE LAS HERIDAS EN LA PRÁCTICA CLÍNICA

l International Wound Infection Institute (IWII) es una organización de voluntarios profesionales interdisciplinarios de la salud dedicada al avance y mejoramiento de las prácticas relacionadas con la prevención y control de las infecciones de las heridas. Incluye heridas agudas (quirúrgicas, traumáticas y quemaduras) y heridas crónicas de todo tipo, aunque en especial las heridas crónicas de etiologías venosas, arteriales, diabéticas y de presión.
