The Finnish Wound Care Society (FWCS) is a large multiprofessional society that currently has 2700 members. The society organises a national wound conference annually. The society is committed to the promotion of woundcare knowledge in Finland and helps to finance research by providing grants.

Events and activities

• FWCS also organises educational events in smaller cities in Finland; and we take education to distant cities and smaller hospitals in Finland once or twice a year.  
• Our magazine Haava (meaning Wound) is published four times a year and it has a distribution of 3400.
