History
The Dermatological Society of Thailand was founded on 29 October 1975 and received the licensing powers to certify diplomate of the Thai board of Dermatology from the Royal College of Physician of Thailand and the Medical Council of Thailand.

Missions

1. Promoting excellence in the practice of dermatology
2. Promoting research in the field of dermatology
3. Promoting the exchange of knowledge and opinions amongst members and other medical associations within the country and internationally
4. Promoting camaraderie and medical ethics amongst members and the public
5. Assisting and co-operating with public sectors and other organizations in activities relating to dermatology knowledge
6. Public education about common and relevant skin-related problems
7. Being politically neutral

Annual activities

• Interhospital Conferences every two months, hosting by training centers
• Annual Scientific and General Meeting conducted in English and mid-year meeting
• Skin forum every two months
• 2-week short course training in dermatology for general practitioner
