Chinese Tissue Repair Society (CTRS) was founded in 1995. It is a non-profit making organisation.

The aim of this society is to promote the knowledge and skills of woundcare among those scientists, doctors and nurses who are interested in wound repair and regeneration.

The CTRS has a meeting every two years and a number of annual consensus meetings.

The president of the society is Xiaobing Fu, MD, PhD, Professor of Traumatology, Wound Healing Unit, The First Affiliated Hospital of The General Hospital of PLA, Trauma Center of Postgraduate Medical College, Beijing, China.
