Australasian Wound and Tissue Repair Society

 

The Australasian Wound and Tissue Repair Society, a non-profit-making organisation founded in 2007, aims to promote the exchange of knowledge between scientists, healthcare professionals, those working in industry and other individuals with an interest in wound healing and tissue repair.


Aims and activities
The society provides a forum for interaction among scientists, physicians, licensed practitioners, allied health professionals and industrial representatives. Membership of the society is open to any individual who has demonstrated an interest in the field of wound healing and tissue repair.

The Australasian Wound and Tissue Repair Society is an organisation of professionals dedicated to improving wound healing and tissue repair.

The society facilitates avenues through which all interested parties are able to increase their knowledge base through education, research and practice, in order to improve outcomes for patients.

The society holds a bi-annual meeting and a number of focus meetings each year, concentrating on different aspects of wound healing and tissue repair, ranging from basic science to clinical aspects of healing.


Mission statement
