The Association for Wound Management of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AWMoBH) is primarily concerned with education and research on all aspects of wound care.

Research

Results of the association's clinical research project on the appliance of Bioptron polarized light (480-3400nm) in the treatment of dermatological conditions and chronic wounds have been presented at a number of meetings, including the European Academy of Dermatology and Venerology/European Society for Laser Dermatology's Annual Scientific Meeting in 2007 and at the First Serbian International Congress of Phlebology in 2007.

Future plans

Participation in more research and wound care meetings is planned. AWMoBH is also hoping to participate in the European Wound Management Association's Wound Survey Project.
